  • KORG Concert C-50 conductive rubber

Recently I received KORG Concert C-50 digital piano for repair
and I need to replace his 88 keys-keyboard rubber contacts stripe
(white rubber stripe with two black conductive strips - Korg p/n 42206806).

Does anyone know where I can buy this part?

Look on the long narrow circuit boards that this rubber strip bears upon, does it say Yamaha on it anywhere? Korg used a lot of Yamaha keybeds. If that was the case here, we MIGHT be able to identify which Yamaha bed it was, and THEY might still have it.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

I really found that AE88 keyboard that was used in the Korg C-50 was
used also in Yamaha CLP series electro piano (for example in CLP-350).

Yamaha’s part number of the rubber contacts is VC799200.

I thank everyone for your very helpful tips.

That is actually a Yamaha part. Korg used Yamaha keyboard assemblies for years. If it is no longer available from Korg, it may be available from Yamaha.

              Hello,

I am the owner of an electronic piano KORG Concert C-55.
By mistake my daughter spilled some oil on the keys and she destroyed the rubber contact band.
For almost 3 month I have searched the internet for a spear part but I have found nothing.
My question it is that you can help me, if you know if I can use that (Yamaha spear part VC799200 ) also for my KORG Concert C-55?

Or if you know some spear part that will be compatible with my KORG Concert C-55?

              Best regards
              Florian

The C-55 uses the same AE88 keyboard as the C-50.
For this reason you can use the same rubber contact strip.
