  • 4-conductor hookup wire question

Im wiring a humbucker with a coil split.(I want the slug side hot in the split) What two wires do I run to the split? I'm using the standard Gibson wiring color code.

    Hookup wire:
    Red- slug start
    Wht- slug end
    grn-screw side finish
    Black-screw start

According to Duncans website: (Seems wrong)

Grn and Wht go together into the on/on mini toggle.
    Blk and drain to ground.
    Red to the pot lug.

    Thanks a ton!

    Peace

    Mark

You want to cancel the slug side?

If you ground the green and white the slug side will be active

I want the slug side hot in the split. So is the Duncan wiring diagram right?
Grn/wht to the middle lug of the on/on with the end lug of the on/on going to the ground?

      Thanks

        but according to this:

        Hookup wire:
        Red- slug start
        Wht- slug end
        grn-screw side finish
        Black-screw start

Grn and Wht go together into the on/on mini toggle.
        Blk and drain to ground.
        Red to the pot lug.

the slug side will be hot

          Thanks bro!

          I owe you a beer.

I already had translated the SD color code to Gibson color code.

          Thanks again

          peace
