Anybody know where these can be found, if at all?

Make them yourself, you can get undrilled covers, make your own bobbins. Lollar's book shows how...

No they don't. Wish they did though.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

Yeah you're right, I don't think I've actually ever seen undrilled soap bar covers. Its not really super important that the poles line up with the strings anyway, though you get better sound. Vintage strats never lined up, some old Gibsons didn't line up. P90's have a pretty fat field around the poles so you still get enough sound out of a string thats a bit off the mark....
You might be able to get the German nickel silver soap bar covers undrilled, but you have to buy a minimum amount from them, like $300 worth or so....

I figured I could finagle the bobbins, but thought it if they're out there pre-made, it would speed things up. But what about some no-hole soapbar baseplates?

Someone on this board told me TVJ had them, but I had to order them via mail as they weren't on the page yet. Mrs. Tuokkola of TV Jones is a great person to deal with and the covers shipped out without a hitch - I think she did mention they planned to add them to the webshop at some point.
