It's what we call SPN, Single Poly Nylon.
Here it is on their regular site.
      Magnet Wire
Plain Enamel, is usually always dark brown.
They have the 42SPN in red and natural.
      I have both.
Unless you are building replica pickups, I would stick with the 42 SPN.
I use the Heavy 42HPN on Strat Single Coils.
      Good Luck,

You can get smaller spools here:

AWG 42-Ga Plain Enamel Single Build Pickup Coil Wire 1/2 lb Spool

For that same price you can get a 3lb roll of poly.

It might be a better deal to get a larger roll while you're at it.
Maybe a 5 pound roll would not cost that much more shipping?
              Just a thought.

I have managed to negotiate better freight deals with MWS (think it was about $60 for 2x5lbs rolls last time)

There are no wire drawing facilities down under? Time to track down the Korean or Taiwanese supplier of Plain Enamel that has been rumored for ages around here.

It all made of copper wire or brass wire used for electrical equipments, such as motors, tranformers, cock coils, relays, communcation equipments , stove coils and so on.

                          That called enameled copper wire.

Their Bot did a search and came up with this Thread.
                              It's just SPAM.
my 42 SPN runs from .068-.070mm.
I tried some Import wire a couple years back from GPUSA.
It had too much alloy in it, and it kinked real bad. Not enough Copper.
                              Theirs may be different.
