Looked inside a fender vibro king and....

....there must have been 20 shielded cables going to pots for the most part and none longer than maybe 2" ! Is that really necassary for some reason....if not why would they do that. I've never seen such a thing. I suppose if there are enough of them the additive amount of shielding over all those signal wires could make a difference i suppose. But never having seen that before i was curious as to why on this amp?

Might have something to do with the built in "stand alone" reverb design on the front end... pretty noisy place for reverb but a good sounding amp.
