Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Wem copicat delays? The studio I work in has just bought two of them. I had a look inside and the Caps on the power supply (1600uf @ 63v) need replacing as they are bulged.
The other issue which we are concerned about is the earthing. It's wired for 230volts but the earth wire is not connected to anything. I think the idea is that it earth's through the amplifier being used. I did earth it to the chassis before using but then there is a 50/60Hz hum which is a bit annoying!
Is there a way to earth these units to get around this problem?
