Sonic Distortion Vbb value

A quick question The Vbb to the 2n3904 has a 510k resistor on the Ibanez sonic distortion....

I happen to have 560k and 470k.....which way should I go?

Also, a 2n2222a is a good sub for the 2n3904 right?

Measure them. They're 5% tolerance. A 510k that's 5% over is 535.5k and 484.5k if it's 5% under. A 560k that's 5% under is 532k. A 470k that's 5% over is 493.5k. You may actually have what you need right now.

Alternatively, you can always place two values that total 510k in series and install them like two teepee poles leaning up against each other and soldered at the junction.
