  • P-90 bobbins with 51 - 53 mm spread

Does anyone make these for purchase? Preferably with covers. TO clarify: I am looking for 51, 52, 53 mm spacing for a P-90 bobbin to use on vintage Strat and Tele bridge spacing.

To make P-90 bobbins does bakelite hold up for the top and bottom flanges? I can probably make a wood core from body scraps.

If I have to make the bobbins myself does anyone sell P-90 covers that are undrilled? I can always use a Jazzmaster cover and drill the holes myself if needed.

Check out this link where Erick Coleman shows how to make a custom sized p90 for a 3 string cigar box guitar.

It's the same technique for what you want to do with custom spacing.
