I just bought 4 of these and they don't look to bad. I will test them in the next week or so and see how they measure/sound out.

As long as efficiency and lf extension aren't primary concerns, these should work fine in most guitar applications. FWIW, I would figure on these taking about half their rated power in an open back or ported enclosure. The surround on them doesn't look like it's meant for much excursion.

I don't think you want these for a bass amp. The surround is part of the diaphragm (paper).... not sure why you would consider the efficiency an issue?
