  • Bass Cushion Pad Material?

Looking for a source of the black foam rubber to make Bass cushion Pads out of.
Mojo was out of their pads when I sent in my order last week.
If I had a piece of the black foam rubber I could cut it up and make pads to go with my bass pickups.
I have double sided tape I could put on it, right now I need the black foam material.
    Thanks,
    T

Terry look at a local upholsterers supplies company and buy it by the sheet and cut it it's far cheaper or your nearest plumbing and heating supplier may do the black thick wall pipe lagging which again can be cut.

      Thanks Jonson!
I need to make a trip to town and see what I can find.
Something to do with insulation, or maybe something at a craft store.
It needs to be the real dense foam that doesn't go to nothing when compressed.

Can you compress the interlocking mats.
You have to be able to squeeze it down.
I have black rubber Stall mats, around the spread here, but it is too tough.
It is designed for Livestock to walk on.
I'll try to get to town and see what I can find.
I've had the flu, and been in the house for a few days.

                  Thanks, I'll look into that.
I used to use something similar on my truck bed, when I put my camper top on.
I'll see what I can find.

Here's what I came up with on the Weather Stripping to make bass pads.
                    Works great!
It measures 3/4 inch width, 1/2 inch thick, and can be cut to any length.
Shop Frost King 0.75-in x 10-ft Black Closed-Cell Foam Window Weatherstrip at Lowes.com
                    Thanks for the input guys!
