  • Mackie TH15a

The usual... pops and makes noises and cuts out. Not the ferrite heatshrink issue often discussed.

Tons of these have problems like this... musicians everywhere complaining about them or reporting this exact failure. I don't feel like sending it to the evil bay dude.

Upon probing found some not so happy high side rev resistance measurements of D106/107. Ordered up, so we'll see.

I had others a while ago on consignment I never dug into, customer sold as is on reverb for 50 each. Another guy with bad woofers bought for parts.

    Ah the Mackie Thump.

That's the sound they make when they hit the bottom of the bin.

Just finished up a pair of Thump 15's minutes ago. They came in last March after a lightning hit. Boards were non-repairable. I ordered the boards March 14th of last year directly from Mackie. I just got them Friday.
