  • Marshall MG 100 FX Volume Problem

When switching between the clean and crunch mode the volume will decrease a good 10 to 15db.
When I adjust the volume "up or down" it will go back to original level. Changed vol. pot but same issue.
What's strange is that it doesn't do it when switching the overdrive button. Clean and tested the clean and crunch
switch and it functions properly. Tested with footswitch and same problem.
Looking at the schematic, could one of the IC's be the culprit...thanks

It would be helpful if you posted that schematic.
