Marshall dsl40c tube breakage

Got this Marshall dsl40c that had intermittent volume spikes and while testing the tubes one broke clean off. The vacuum was still good because the getter was still silver I watched it turn white.
Though I doubt it was the reason for intermittent volume spikes.

That is amazing how clean that broke apart!! Was there any glass fragments from the bottom part or was it a clean break too?

Clean break there too on 2 peices i was able to rock the rest out. So far its benn playing for a while no vol drop yet.
