  • 1" titanium HF driver with horn for CRATE PE 15

    Please, tell me what type of speaker 1" titanium HF driver with horn, is used in the CRATE PE 15 speakers.

    Look on the horn magnet, is it a Foster horn? If so the common Foster 1" diaphragm.

    Otherwise contact Loud Tech and ask.

      ^^^^ That. Or, upload pictures so we can see it. There are replacement diaphragms available for most.

          I don't recognize that driver, it certainly is not the Foster.

          That leaves contacting Loud Tech.
          Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

            Did you own the cabinet from new, or is there a chance someone replaced the horn driver?
            The diaphragm shape is like JBL 2412, but the terminals are not the same, so it's probably a knock-off.

              You can probably get a generic replacement from MCM Electronics for cheap.

                I bought the used, just Hf driver does not sounds well, so I'm looking for a replacement.

                  Hello. Maybe I found the Hf driver. First I made a screw error for the corner - is not 1 "(I took it from the cabinet datasheet) but it is 1 3/8".
                  Then I found the PYLE PDS342 HF driver. I've bought it and I'm gonna get it this weekend.
                  We'll see :-)
