  • Bass Pickup Wiring

Anyone know where to find a wiring schematic that combines a passive musicman bridge pickup (Bartolini) and a passive Jazz neck pickup (Seymour Duncan)?

There are 5 control holes so the particulars of tone/volume are variable.

    Thanks~!

You can use any generic Jazz Bass wiring. That leaves you with extra holes. You could do a tone control for each pickup, but I can't say that's as useful as it seems, except you can use a different value cap for each pickup (larger value for the neck.. like a .047 and a .02 for the bridge).

Most of my basses have preamps, but my one passive bass has volume/volume/tone.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein
