"Too few characters"

Well here is a new one on me.

Someone in a thread somewhere here asked something, and I went to post the answer, "Yes."

The forum wouldn't let me. It told me I had to enter more characters because it had a seven character minimum or some such.

That is the first time in my life anyone ever told me I didn't talk enough.

God knows what it would do if all you wanted to do was post a smiley in response to someone. I never use them, so I guess I'll never know the answer to that one.

I tried making a post with a quote and accidentally put my reply inside the quote, and I got an error message very similar to yours. After moving my reply outside the quote, the post was accepted.
