30 Watt AA964 Princeton-ish Head

Dukane PT, Stromberg-Carlson OT, AES 125C1A choke, Hammond chassis.
Controls are: Vol, Treb, Mid, Bass, and MV.
Rich, creamy mids and gobs of sustain--- fun to play.
I just got a NOS Merit OT yesterday--- 6.6k primaries--- 4,8,16 secondaries--- rated for 34 watts---i have another Dukane PT (same p/n as the one used above--- but NOS and perfect looking gray paint, plastic lead insulation).
This 1st 30 watter is spoken for so i might as well build another for me.
I have more Hammond 16x8x2" chassis on hand--- i might use the mesh cage for this 2nd one instead of the wooden head cab.
Pics of the 1st one:

With faceplate/head cab it will look like this one (a Bogen CHB50 i converted to a 5F6-A circuit) but with a black faceplate and chicken head knobs:

I'm also considering removing the MV and putting a tonestack ground-lift boost (footswitchable) in it's place.
Amp are fun...............gldtp99

I removed the Crossline MV and put a Boost in it's place--- a tonestack ground lift-type simple boost, footswitchable.
This has definite possibilities---- it adds quite a bit by itself and works very well with a front-ended OD pedal---i tried a Keeley modded Tubescreamer and an MXR ZW OD and both worked pretty well.
I'm thinking that the boosted tone might benefit from some NFB added back into the amp to decrease bandwidth a little--- there's no NFB now so i'll experiment with NFB amounts to get a balance between Tweed-ish clean tone and the Boost tone being a bit more compressed.
The orig AA964 2.7k NFB resistor allows way too much NFB for my taste.
I like the clean non-boosted tone with no NFB so i'll try and find a happy compromise when i get some more bench time................gldtp99
