    pevey valveking 100 212 question

Hello. Does this amp need the channel switching pedal to be connected to change between channels?
I've got one on the bench making strange things.
Does this amp have a sound gap between channels?
    help

There is a momentary mute as channels switch, that is the job of Q101 and TR105. This is a common feature of most PV amps.

You should be able to control things without the footswitch. But the FS jack does complete the circuits. SO make sure the cutout contacts on the FS jack are making good contact. And check their solder and the ribbon cable.

Measure resistance across the cutout copntacts themselves on the jack. Power off of course.
