Strat neck builders and sellers

I wanted to ask if any one knows where to get good quality strat necks other than Warmoth, USA Custom or the Mighty Mite necks from Ebay?

I have been using Warmoth strat necks for over 12 years and like them. Also used a few USA Custom strat necks which are great too. Using a Mighty Mite neck from Ebay that has a really good tone but the 9.5 radius I don't care for.

I also like the warmoth conversion strat necks as they are killer to play but kind of expensive in cost, around $193.00 to $250.00 price range.

There has to be other neck builders out there that can make a neck that feels like you have played it all your life, ya know...

Anyway, I know that necks are subjective to each player so one that plays great for me would feel horrible to an SRV style player.

Also I find that I like pao Ferro fretboard much better than the Indian Rosewood for tone and feel.

The funniest thing is, I have a 2008 Squire Deluxe strat Indo made that has this amazing neck that feels like the old strats I have tried years back and its got tone too. Who woulda thunk.

Another quality neck supplier is Musikraft. For more affordable necks AllParts does a pretty good job. All necks need work, at least leveling, crowning, and end dressing- but these two are generally very good.

Part of my business is building custom instrument necks. I've built hundreds of them, one at a time, on custom order to all kinds of crazy specs, dimensions, and features. Way too many variations and parameters available to list here. A specialized replacement neck for a Strat is routine. Most standard guitar necks I do with my friend Mike Lipe. I usually build the main structure, truss rod, and major machining, and he does the final shaping, fretwork, and detailing. I make all my own truss rods and hardware here in my own shop, to my own designs.

A handmade custom neck isn't cheap, though. A simple bolt-on guitar neck in bare wood will start at about $600, and can go up over $1000 if it's loaded up with labor intensive options. We don't use CNC machines, and we don't have any "stock" necks on the shelves. Everything is built to order.

One note: I won't build exact copies of Fender necks, for both legal and philosophical reasons. If you want a "perfect" Fender neck, get one from Fender! A few years back, I built a few precise replicas of early Broadcaster necks for some vintage Fender fanatics. I'm not interested in that whole vintage replica field any more. I will occasionally build replacement replica necks for rare old guitars, but they're expensive.

I've been building custom necks for about 15 years. About 3/4 of my customers are companies; other Luthiers and guitar manufacturers. Lately, Mike and I are getting a lot of work directly from guitar companies, building prototypes and one-off endorser instruments.

I'm not trying to push a sales plug; I'm just answering your question!
