wiring a 5f6a for 2x12's with a jack

Hey, I've got a 5f6a bassman wired in the normal fashion of 4x10 8ohm speakers at 2ohms, for the OT. But I have two questions.

1. How do I wire 2 12" speakers that are 4ohms each to 2 ohms, parallel right?

2. The speakers are all on rca type jacks now, like the old style, but I want to wire an input jack so I can use different speakers, attenuators, etc. so if I have one input jack and one 1/4 input connector, how do I wire it correctly

thanks
