question Polytone Mini Brute III / IV / M-PA

    Hey everybody.

Thanks for all the help....I think I've about got this brute ( version lll/lV/M-PA ) finished. Put in the 2 new Power Transistors and it still blew the fuse......then I found that BR-71A is open...so my question is 2 parts

1 Can I use NTE 6315 ( 600V, 8A )/ or what BR can I use ? ...the schematic I have is not helpful on this point.

2 Which wires go where ? There are 2 yellow dots and 1 red dot of paint on the old BR.

    Thanks Doc Stitches

The specs for the NTE is more than enough for the amp, so sure, if it fits use it.

The original markings show how the leads connect. The two yellow are the AC inputs, the red is the + dc output. The unmarked lead is the - dc terminal.

Re-check the new outputs before you power up again. Did you check the driver transistors and the emitter resistors, etc.?
