| Microphonic wireless?
Wondering if anyone has run into this one before.... I bought a used AKG Dual Pro wireless for guitar... it's actually 2 separate units in one box with one power supply. One side works great, the other side squeals through the guitar amp. (The first time it happened, I actually thought it was the monitors feeding back and started grabbing the rack EQ! Last night, I took the cover off of the base unit, and I could get it to ring by tapping on the metal chassis with my wedding ring. I didn't have much time to work on it last night, but tonight I intend to pull the circuit board, check for faulty solder connections, and try using rubber grommets as shock mounts for the circuit board. Any ideas on this? Thanks! Neal |

You shouldn;t need rubber grommets - find out what is microphonic and fix that.
