I scored some Fish Paper

I just got 425 feet of 3 7/8" 0.047" Fish paper. So I do know that the forbon you use for pickups is a bit thicker. I have some options. We also stock
0.030". I have PSA, pressure sensitive adhesive film also. Hmmm maybe laminate 2 pieces together. This stuff is a bear to punch. What do most techs do. Brad point bits? Punches? Lasers? Also milling the outline??? Make a die. I do this all day long, punch dies, and one of our customers is Fender. They use 0.030" fish paper for electrical saftey shields in their amps. We punch them. I can safely say any thicker and Thor God of Thunder sounds will be produced. Maybe mill if on a router table with a jig???

Send me a sample and I'll let you know. I just picked up a sheet 1/16" linen phenolic, it's pretty to look at but it's not very stiff.
