Bob Bogle died recently. I'm glad The Ventures finally made the RRHOF before he went.

Yeah I heard he died. That's one of my favourite gueetar songs - I've never heard Chet Atkins' version - I must track it down. Nokie Edwards has got quite a noisy tuning peg hasn't he? (Those legions of japanese fans of theirs were very polite I must say).

Yes I must admit Karl Malden's death was a surprize. I didn't actually know he was still alive. He must've been about the same age as one of my grandfathers (who died about 20 years ago)
