| Crown K1 Volume Pots
I have a Crown K1 in for repair. The problem is the volume pots are very scratchy and cut the output in various settings. I downloaded the schematic from the Crown website ( Thank You Crown for offering this free information) and I found the Crown part number for these 5k pots. However, is there a cross reference for this potentiometer that I can purchase at Mouser, Digikey, or other parts houses? Thanks, CJ |

Beats me, look them up. This is where a paper catalog is better than online - to me anyway. I can flip pages looking for an image. They are 12mm (I think) pots, plain old three leg, with support brackets. Looks like 5k Audio. Yes? Various pot makers have various names, but these mount shaft parallel to the board. And no bushing. Not that it matters much, but kurled round shaft. Shaft is roughly 16mm or 24mm overall llength. But you already have the parts, measure what you have. I think most 12mm pots that look like this have the same leg spacing, but the data sheet for any candidate will verify the spacing.
