I agree that PayPal is probably the best way to go. I already sent my payment, so let me know if I need to send more. |

You squeeked-in 52Bill, good choice. LAST CALL.... Last call will start now as we close this group-buy this week. Those who are "in" will need to start sending their fundage. Paypal or US Postal Money Orders only. Participants who want to pay by US Postal Money order need to get them in the mail Monday or Tuesday (July 7 or 8th) and send them in a manner that gets them to me in time. You will need to PM me for the address to send your M/O Participants who will be paying by Paypal have until 4PM next Saturday August 1st to get their payment to me. My Paypal address is brad.anne.burt AT gmail.com I will be ordering the Parts and PIC's Monday August 3rd. I must emphasize that you MUST make sure your fundage gets to me before 4PM next Saturday Aug 1, 2009 or you are not going to make it in on this group buy. Anyone who has been on-the-fence will needs to decide if they are in and get their fundage transfered. Please don't PM me on Saturday evening asking "is it too late", it will be. Fundage needs to be recieved by Saturday to make the order Monday.(I'm busy Sunday because I swapped this Sunday for next Sunday so I could meet with Jason on behalf of the group) As some have made comments about multiple kits, you can order more than one PIC but know that you will have to pay more shipping and wait for the extra PICs. We can't have the whole group-buy held up by a few wanting multiples. Also, I offered to make circuit boards for the participants here at $9/per, I did not offer to enable anyone to do business and no multiples are being offered. One PCB per particpant at that price. | Personal Note: Hey participants, try to watch the big posts like post #216 above when you wonder about status or if I got your address or payment or whatever. We're only allowed 50 PM's in our PM box and I'm getting jammed up a little with the PM's, so help me out by reading the big posts for your update info. We've got 19 participants and I'm getting 2, 3 or 4 a day from folks. Don't get me wrong, I love to hear from you, but the PM's are a finite resource here and I need to make sure I get the addresses and important stuff so ensure this train-keeps-a-rollin'. Anyone can always go to my website and send me a real email through Classic Amplification too ya know. ALSO A REMINDER: JasonG John H 52Bill You guys need to send me your PM's with your addresses, and figure out how you are paying.

I like what I see! Sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner, this is the first forum I have been on that deals with threads the way this one does. So I missed a step. Close the group buy when you think it is right to. I will be paying with paypal. |

| Ok no rush but ...(in my best Sam Kinneson voice)... BETTER GET ON IT DUDE! PS; you do know who Sam Kinneson was right? Me too, usually these thing go much smoother, usually the initial post in a group-buy thread is allowed to be updated so it's waaayyy easier to keep things coordinated, I think this may be a first time for group-buy's on this forum, maybe next time we can get more normalized.

''PS; you do know who Sam Kinneson was right?'' Everyone and there mom knows Sam Kinneson. I was a bit young when he was around but I will never forget his " In living Color" appearance and his ugly kramer that his brother (?) was selling on ebay. I will be googling his videos tonight no doubt. |

There's a minor issue, check your mail. About Sam, there's lots up on Youtube but this here is a good example of what Arndawg56 was talking about:

Brad; Payment sent. Thanks again. WTF? How did this thread get hijacked by the ghost of Sam? I spent about two hours the other night watching clips of him on youtube after seeing the thread. I saw him live once here in Vegas. I laughed so hard that night my stomach was sore the next morning. |

While all the info we need is in the thread Gaussmeter project it can be a bit of a hastle strolling through it when trying to build (or operate) the meter. So for the sake of all of us that will be building this project, I whipped up this PDF that has the basic information needed so we can easily print out some, or all, of it as needed. Here is the PDF: http://classicamplification.net/Gaus...ssMeter_v2.pdf (right-click the link and select "save target as") Elepro, please review it for errors.

Are the standoffs mentioned in the instructions included in the kit? If not, tell me the specs, and I'll make up enough for everyone, no charge. I used to make up all kinds of custom standoffs for the electronics lab on a small turret lathe that I have. Likewise, is there any need for a machined metal or plastic sleeve to encase the probe? If we can figure out what it should be, I'll make up a batch of them. I'm willing to donate some time to this project. |
