| Dumble Bass knob not working
Hey guys, I've just rewired my amp for the 60s dumble tone stack below. The treble knob works and sounds great, the bass knob does nothing. ?? Not sure why. Of note is that the tone stack is placed b/t the 1st and 2nd gain stages, however in the OD channel, the signal goes through 2 more gain stages after that. My question I guess is, is this schem right? I don't think it's because of the extra gain stages after the TS because it really does NOTHING. I'd think if placement was a problem it would simply not be very effective but would still be audible. |

There are some errors in that schematic, but not positive I can identify all of them. There should be a connection from the Bass pot Wiper to ... some place - probably the node between the 196K resistor and the Guitar/Mic switch. I'd be looking at the 70's circuit, myself or a BluesMaster HRM. Hope this helps! |
