Hey guys, I need some help. I just bought a 1974? ampeg vt-40 "front panel" today and it should be 40 ear blistering watts but its not. With the vol. all the way up its about 2 watts. Its all original. Do you thinks its power tubes failure causing this. What else could it be? Everything else works.

Should be putting out 60 watts, in reality. I've got a B-25B on the bench putting out 68 Wrms with 2 7027's in it. Are all your tubes lighting up, what's your B+ voltage? |
