    kalamazoo model 1

    heres a fun one i just picked up.
    works ok, some noise. gonna go thru it soon.
    makes a nice matched set with the kg2a.
    i've stripped off all the paint.
    neck looks grreat. (why purple?)
    some ppls kids.
    body ready for a coat of white this wknd.
    gonna wind some new pups for it.
    plenty of room under the covers to go hotter.
    set may be for sale soon.

    Those are cool little amps. I've had a couple over the years and serviced a few. The 2 wire AC cord and filter caps will need to be replaced if not done yet. Be sure to check the coupling caps for leakage as well.

    I um... actually like the purple. I kinda like the psychedelic "half sanded through' swirl, too.
