| demarzio evolution pickups
Hey guys I just got 2 evolution pickups ( dp-159 and dp158 ) to put in my OLP MM1. They are the black and cream pickups. I have seen them mounted different ways (black to bridge/black to neck, black to bridge/white to neck, etc) Since these pickups have pole adjustments on both sets of coils per pickup, does it make a difference sound wise which way they are mounted? I've only dealt with duncans. Thanks Clay Last edited by Gunn_Slinger; 09-19-2009 at 08:47 AM. |

Each coil is voiced differently, so they will sound different flipped around. You can try them both ways and what you like better. |

Not really, but each coil is wound with a different gauge wire.
