Anyone use Antek toroids?

Specifically their PTs? They are amazingly cheap, with a 200VA 300-0-300 (400mA) 2 x 6.3v/4A unit being $45 delivered! Their OTs are few and less cheap (no 8K! )

They are not 1U flat but look well made, they even sell welded potting cans!

their 400VA units would be nice in my planned ~800v bench supply, and only $50...

I have two builds with them, I like them. I don't like that both of mine were advertised having two 6 volt windings and in reality had a 6 and a 12- but it doesn't matter. They're so heavy-duty that it doesn't matter- I just used the single 6 volt winding with no ill effects.

Ed at TST amps uses them and likes them and there are others here that have used them- I'll have to check my messages and see who I was talking to about them.
