I recently acquired V1141 Beatle amp. It sounds good, all channels and effects work fine, but when I engage the fuzz effect with the footswitch the fuzz works but the volume level drops dramatically and I have to use lots of drive from my guitar pickups to get sound. Is this normal? I would have expected engaging the fuzz effect would just add distortion to the existing volume level and guitar pickup drive I was using. Just wanted to hear from other Beatle amp owners to see if this is normal operation or if my amp has a problem I need to get repaired. Any help is appreciated. Many Thanks! |

The fuzz circuit is very similar to the Tone Bender/Fuzz Face circuit. There may be a few bad caps that need to be replaced. | |
