| GDS and the 18 Watt group
Has anyone had any contact with Graydon or the 18 watt group just lately? I know I'm probably being a bit impatient, but I sent in an application to join the 18 watt group, and also emailed Graydon at his GDS address looking for prices on a transformer set. That was last weekend, and I haven't heard from either. Anyone know if they are still active? I'm suddenly itching to get on with a project amp that has been lying dormant for about 8 years... Thanks in advance for any info. Liam |

Nope, I lost contact with that group back during the blowup w/ Weber. That's when they went to an approved membership situation and I lost all interest in it. It used to be a cool place, but with the way that whole thing went down I found little reason to be a part of it after that.

Managed to get an order in to GDS, so have re-established contact with Graydon now. Would quite like to trawl the 18 watt archives, so if anyone has any contact with 18watt.com please mention my request for a login there. (A bit annoying really, as I was a member of the old Yahoo group very early on.) Liam |

FWIW I have an account there that I've never used (until now). I put in a plug for you. Now if you (or anybody else here?) happens to be a member of the Weber forum and could put in a plug for my application (which is getting colder by the day), that would be very kind. I bought a kit of them recently and I want to hook up with some other builders of that same type of kit before I start my build. Cheers

Hi Liam FYI this was the reply I got to my plug "Thanks for bringing this to our attention. That post is dated October 24th, so it's pretty old. I'm sure his registration will have been processed well before the end of October, and there are no pending registrations in the system right now (we get around 20 per day). I would need to have his e-mail address for a 100% verification that we've received his registration request. HTH"
