Polyester Dual Coat 180 Insulation Question

I have a half pound spool of AWG44 with Polyester Dual Coat 180 insulation. Is it suitable for winding humbuckers? Any ideas about the potential tone with this type of insulation?

It'll wind just fine but stripping the insulation off it is going to be a bear in my experience. 600 grit sandpaper and some patience.
