| New Tubes for Traynor YSR-1 Custom Reverb
I'm looking to replace the tubes in my YSR-1, and would really appreciate any input on what some good options are. The current tubes are old...real old. GE something or other. I feel like there's a better way. I know there's a great amp in here somewhere; in fact it doesn't sound bad now. I just know it could be great........ Anyway, I don't know a lot about tube variety. I'm assuming NOS is the way to go. Look forward to the feedback, and thanks! |

Are you sure they're bad? I'm sure GE's have a much longer life than current tubes. I replaced mine with some older el-34s and it sounds great.
