Bar Cheese

Going through some old hard drives I came across a picture I took of some bar cheese. Bar Cheese is a term used around town to define the substances that accumulate in band gear after years of gigging in bars.

It could be grimy, fuzzy, groady, or stainey
It comes in all colors, grey, white, yellow, green, etc.

In this case, it is a fuzzy Grey floor monitor and amp.

Before and after pictures of the amp.

Nice to see a properly broken in speaker. All that fluff in the horn helps attenuate the highs so you can turn the monitor up for deaf musicians and not have it shrieking feedback all over the place.

Gives it a warm, wooly character.
