| Fender Twin PT Wires
I believe this to be a 1969 Twin. But regardless, I am confused by the two PT wires that go to ground. I assume the Red-Yellow is a CT for the high voltage winding (please correct me). But what is the function of the Orange wire, anybody know ? Thank You ![]() |

- from the schematic it looks like the ground wire for one of those wraparound copper screens, or for the laminations anyhow.

Its a Shield between the windings which helps to avoid Interferences...
