    Problems with the forum?

Is anyone else having problems with the forum? I'm getting messages about premissions and invalid forums.

Me too, I can get into some but not most forums. Doesn't seem to matter if I am logged in or not.

It started last night. I can't get into the pickup makers forum, though I see that someone made a post this morning. I sent a message to tboy.

Thumb twiddling here too, with beer though.

So I thought I'd post these - found on a local forum, they're travel guitars chopped from cheapies:

    Cool Travel Guitars.
I get weekly updates from Rondo Music.
I thought this to be interesting today.
I posted it on another forum earlier.

This is a different Bridge Plate design.
It looks like a Stratocaster & a Telecaster, was involved in a serious collision, and this was the result!
It looks like a regular tele bridge was sawed off and the Strat Tremelo added.
    I think I like it!

Thanks pretty cool. Too bad they didn't put a third pickup on it!

The original Rondo Music used to be not far from me. I still use a Rondo strap in my bass.

Here's my Tele/Strat/LP collision. No trem though.

If you added a third pickup and then someone would want a 5-way and 3 Pots.
Pretty soon you would have a Strat!

It does have a five way, but that extra tone control is redundant. I also prefer to have a tone control available for the bridge pickup, unlike a Strat.

It also has a push/pull to switch the bridge pickup between series and parallel.

Here's the Rondo version with 3 Pickups and 5-way.
    Same Price.

    Not bad!

I have a customer that got an SX Tele and had me changed the pickups and electronics and tuners. Now it's a nice sounding guitar.

I'll be damned. I was passing this off as a random glitch, but today I ran across some information that leads me to suspect that we were almost certainly hacked. No real damage was done that I'm aware of, but it did mess up forum navigation for a few hours until I got it fixed.
