My neighbours never did figure out what caused the power outage.Actually, I think it was junked due to a shorted turn, but the way it's designed, it looks like it would be very easy to take the core apart. I just need a pair of big transmitting tubes and a load of magnet wire, and my new bass amp will be good to go

I have a bass buddy that's been looking for that kind/size of tranny for a project!
Turn it up! She's a good amp, just smokes a little!
I haven't figured this out yet either. Some attachments I've tried are displayed inline, and some aren't, with no apparent logic.Originally Posted by Steve Conner

I had some appear much later by magic, I thought it was something you'd fixed.Originally Posted by tboy

Maybe they're looking for that transformer....
I managed to do this yesterday, after a bit of head scratching.Originally Posted by tboy

You first go to "Manage Attachments" and upload the picture
from your computer. You then use the paperclip in the editor
menu - clicking on the little triangle should list the name of
your picture and selecting that will install the proper tags with
the attachment id in between.
I just found this, yesterday I took the id out of the attachment url
and put it in myself between the tags.
One more thingyou have to be logged in for this to work
otherwise you'll just get the link.
Hi everybody!
Well, as it seems the old ampage has disapeared for good!So i finaly took the plunge! Paul, if i can ask, what are thoses Mulles,de by Mullard, or rebranded tubes sold under the mullard name? I've never seen any like this.
Well, my turn to try the pic thing.

Seems to work, as per every PHP boards i use, [img] and [/img] with the pic URL in the middle!

Seems like images linked to with the /img tags display properly even ifOriginally Posted by Satamax
you're not logged in. But you need to use an image host. Images included
as attachments are stored locally (and have a size restriction of 48K) but
only display properly to members who are logged in.
I posted about these in the following thread under "Tubes (Valves)" :Originally Posted by Satamax

I'm not sure they're anything special, but they certainly seem to be rare.
Nothing on ebay in the last six months or anywhere on the net.
You got it right, Paul - works every time!
What had me confused is that the software seems to insert the [attach][/attach] tags automatically for some uploads, but not for others. It could be a bug in the software, or just some subtlety of it's operation that is still escaping me.

... and I almost spit my coffee out giggling.
Here's another equally tasteless image:

It still didn't work when you tried it Enz', but it does now; I finally found the right switch to turn it on.
