reverb tank change

hi everyone. i have a brand new vox ac-15 reissue and the reverb tank sounds pretty bad. from what i've read online i've determined that there is nothing defective with my amp--the ac-15's just have a cheap tank in them. so i want to put the tank from a silver twin i have, a 73 i believe. what do i need to do to make sure that the electrical requirements, etc. are being met?

You want to make sure that the tnak will physically fit, that the input impedance matches and that the output impedance matches - I doubt that you have a tank that uses a lock or is mounted in a funny orientation.

Your Fender tank should be a 4AB3C1B so if you've got the same designation on the Vox tank you're removing then they should swap fine.
