I need help finding info on a Garnet Tripper Sound Console model G90PAR. I think they were a 60watt mixing console of some sort, I would really like a schematic or details of the power transformer used in these machines. Mine is being converted to a guitar amp but the power supply rail reaches 650 volts. any help appreciated. Scott Huber |

If you are taking readings with the tubes removed, they will not be helpful. With tubes not installed, the B+ on any amp climbs to the sky. Install tubes and it drops neatly into the reasonable. If it uses EL34s, the 650 would be OK on the plate, just not elsewhere. Schematic Heavfen has a pile of Garnet in their Bargain Bin section. Not specifically this one, but i bet there are some there very close. |
