    Marshalls, a newbie enquiry...

While not a newbie to guitar or makin' music, I am a newbie in the sense that in the early days, I never bothered to learn how my gear works, and am only now filling in the blanks--like how amps work and which amps might have the sounds I like and why. So, for example, I've considered recently that Eric Johnson uses old Plexis to get certain o' them vintage sounds. Angus Young, someone recently told me when I asked about it, gets his great sound on Thunderstruck and other tracks by cranking up the power amps on his Marshalls--and I quote--"Really FUCKING LOUD!" ;-) Then I were watching a video of Joe Bonamassa warming up on stage on youtube and he, too, made his Marshall preach it. So, naturally, I is now wondering if a Marshall Plexi, for example, might be one way to get the sweet vintage sounds that I like. Any advice on this subject is welcome, as is a date with Taylor Swift. :-0

    I think Angus Plays JTM45/100s.
Not sure if Joe Bonamassa plays vintage Marshalls, or just the Jubilees, that he plays.
Here is the layout of the JTM45/100.
