Get the entire manual from E bay...
Yes, there is an adjustment for that.
I don't have the manual, but it's in there.
Hi all
Just trying my luck here.....
I have this scope. Its the transistor fet version. It works great. Just busy calibrating it, and found that the channel 2 trace shifts upward when I pull the invert switch.
Is this normal? If not how do I fix it.

Hi.
I have the manual, but don't see the adjustment pot for that..
I have the same scope and it also moves up a bit when the 2 channel is inverted. I wouldnt worry about it.

diydidi,
Your best bet is to join the Yahoo group "TekScopes" and post your question there. The group page is at TekScopes : All about classic Tektronix CRT o'scopes
Tip - Do a search of the group's archive before posting and you may find that your question has already been addressed. You may also find lots of other useful information about your scope.

Your vertical amplifier probably has an excessive DC offset. There may be a DC balance pot that you can twiddle to fix it.
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"
Why not just use the ATT DC Bal pot screwdriver adjustment on the front panel near each vertical attenuator? That is what it is for.
