| Stripped threads on a SC
Whats the best fix for stripped threads in the forbon? (The holes for the mounting screws) I was going to use a little epoxy but thought I'd ask first. Thanks |

I don't have much experiace with this, but a few years ago I fixed the stripped holes with ebony dust and superglue. I filled the hole and redrilled and it worked fine.

If nobody is going to see it, fill the hole with ALSI12 and retap the thread when it's set. It can be drilled and tapped after 10 minutes. http://www.parasolinc.com/Products.asp?ProductID=ALSI12 |
