| internal trim pot for LOUD pedal
i just picked up a loud beast of a pedal (glitch computer by midfi electronics) and the output is just too loud. the volume control cannot get the output to a useable level in my pedal board. i was thinking of putting the pedal in an effects loop with a eq pedal with which i could control the gain but that seems to be overkill. what about throwing a small trim pot inside after the volume knob and before the output jack. good idea? horrible? will it make it sound horrible? what would be a good value for the pot? better... what would be a pot someone would suggest for such a use? |
