I built a DlxRev kit once from TAD. Pretty straight forward building. I wasn't too fond of the chassis though. I have seen better ones in the market. The kit was complete. No parts missing and enough wire. You have to be able to build from the layouts. There was no detailed description for a step-by-step build.

I am not 100% on this but I believe these are just MOJO kits, sold to TAD at wholesale and resold at retail... they are good friends and do quite a bit of business together.
The MOJO kits I have built. They use very good parts and excellent transformers but cheap tubes.
However, they sound quite good when used with a great speaker and proper tubes.

thanks for the info...

hello.

thanks for the info. the tubes they use at TAD are their own hi-grade tubes, which are quite ok, but i'm gonna try some different ones too. as i do with some other parts...

i will use a Jensen C12Q speaker first, but when i have the money, i'll also try others (celestions maybe, webers are hard to get in europe, and to import them direkt is pretty expensive...).

any idea, which weber 12'' speaker will work fine for that kind of amp? (i'm playing blues/folk/country/rock style, with a telecaster, but lap-steel also, but don't like the too-clean "country" sound)

greetings from vienna
