How to Upload and Attach files (pix and docs) at MEF

How to Upload and Attach files (pix and docs) at MEF

1. Select Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments and click
2. The new window has Add Files in the upper right corner.
3. After adding files they should appear in the bottom pane. Select both and then click on Insert Inline and then Close window.
4. Your text entry box should now contain attachment.

Slick trick to insert full-sized image of attachment in your post:

1. When viewing or previewing post click on attachment to display image.
2. Copy URL of image (how to do that depends on your OS)
3. Paste URL into text of post bracketed by making sure that there are no spaces between two tags.
(Alternately you can click on Picture icon and paste image URL into dialog box.)
4. After saving edits you now should have full-sized image in your post.

Format for posting YouTube video with player here at the Music Electronics Forum

Format for posting YouTube video with player here at the Music Electronics Forum:

[*video=youtube;XYZXYZXYZXY]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYZXYZXY

P.S. If you save the URL of a YouTube by clicking on the Share icon to send yourself an email it is displayed in the "youtube•be" format so 11-digit YouTube ID must be copied pasted into BBS code posted above (without any spaces):

[*url]http://youtu.be/XYZXYZXYZXY

NOTE: Aster*sk was added before initial BBS tags in this post so that code would be displayed (in other words delete the darned aster*sk from your own video display string.)

P.S. These instructions are mainly for some mobile devices and for composing posts off-line. G1 pointed out that you can accomplish the same thing by clicking on the film icon in the toolbar and pasting in the video URL if you are using a desktop computer. However you will need to convert the URL from the youtu•be format to the youtube•com format spelled out above if you use the Share feature in YT.
