    Exclamation Vintage Sunn Amp in Great Condition at GC -- LMAO

    Sometimes I just have to laugh when I see how some shops over-state the condition on their used gear.

    Here's a good example:

    1970s Vintage Sunn Concert Lead amp with 4x12 cab, listed as being in "Great Condition" ... but the speaker cones are held on with tape!

    What a turd! The sort of thing I might pay someone to take away!?! Their going to sit on that for a long time before the right sucker comes along. But then there's a real possibility that he/she will

    EDIT: There's a guy on *bay right now asking $65,000 for a Vox Beatle Supreme AC100 solid state head with the old horn loaded cabinet. Not funny? Ok... There are eighteen people "watching" the auction! I know that's funny.

    $65,000?!? Wow. Just Wow.

    I think that the people who are watching that auction are the kinds of people who buy at the top of the market, trying to fulfill the aspirations of their youth before it's too late. Middle aged fat guys with fat wallets do that sort of thing.

    I have a concert lead but too bad I don't have that 412L cab I used to have anymore. I bought it for $200 and dumbly sold it for $450.

    Should have just unloaded it on GC.

    My Concert Lead and 412L cost $370 combined, with grill, and no tape on the speakers. I coulda retired damn

    They might be watching just to see what it goes for and have no interest in purchasing it. I do that myself sometimes so that I can figure out how much to sell something for. But yes, that is a ridiculous price.
