    USB Car Chargers

I'm looking for ANY info on these things. I bought the PowerMore charger which claims 2.4A x2 USB outputs for my car to charge my phone. It worked great...for a while.

I know these are simple. But am struggling to find out what circuit this specific charger is. I have it apart...but neither if the 2 smd devices labeled Q1 and Q2 with #s 4564 and 3426 (both #s on each chip) seem to solicit results when googled.

I'm sure i could easily fix it if i understood it better. Yes I can buy another one. But what's the fun in that?

Ok why buy one when you can design what you want?

Sorry. Here are some pics. (Says they're too large to upload..will add them later) I think the 3426 fb4564 are N channel mosfets. I get semi tests on them... and sometimes 0v between 2 leads. I think mosfets gates charge when you touch them on diode meter setting...making the D-S read short.

The IC far left is a CX2901. Cannot find anything on that either. I'm guessing it's the switching IC.

Under the inductor is an SMD IC with 12 or more leads. I forget now.

Does this look familiar to anyone? RG? DC Buck converter?
