I wish anyone well who has suffered the major losses.

However, a new member with one post is asking for a whole lot of trust here.

For anyone that has any doubts, please take a look at my campaign which lists my contact information, my company information and everything about me. I am also more than happy to use an escrow service like escrow.com for anyone who would like to. I do this frequently on eBay.

    https://www.escrow.com/support/faqs/...with-escrowcom

Anything else? If anything look appealing, I can also make individual videos for that piece of gear with probably more info than you care to even know.

Im not a guitar player, so your forum came up in a google search. If you want me to delete this and go away, I'm happy to do so...

FWIW I have organized tons of Rock Shows.
Among other fees and taxes, I had to pay 9% on City Tax , which was waived if I contributed to most any Charity ; only requisite is that I got a letter from them stating so.

Since they really need the money, *any* contribution is appreciated.
Depending on desperation, many would issue the properly signed and stamped letter, in exchange for as little as 4% of ticket brute sales ... do the Math.
I was getting good press, good karma, ... and pocketing 5% *gross* sales (which may be more than actual profit, after expenses and taxes) , cash and no tax on it.

In fact *I* pocketed good cash even if the show as a whole lost money.

    So what guarantees us that:
    a) said money is actually for the fire victims?
    b) even if ... how much of it will reach them?
    c) who will get such money "in their name" ... who spends it and how? ...

Just as a side note: a certain yellow weird haido guy did the same: the *business investors* lost money ; *he* earned his share as organizer or whatever they call that job

This is how Go Fund Me worked on the Vegas Shooting catastrophe:

notice they kept 1.2 Million dollars out of 15 something Millions, not bad for a "letīs help the People) organization.

Here all they promise is *answering questions* after donations, anything you want to purchase is extra.
Do not even think about contacting me about this gear if you haven't donated generously already. I won't even respond. Period. Scroll down and check the update page below:

Yeah, exactly. Give something, anything, so I know you are serious and you help the guys, and don't waste my time.. I had a stroke recently and getting around is difficult and I can only type with one finger. go read this campaign. gofundme takes 5%. The musicians I'm helpin get the rest. That means if you donate $100, $95 goes to the victims, I take NOTHING. And I put in $1,000 of my own money.

Sheesh. I'm blown away by some of the idiots trying to turn this into something it's not.
    Whatever. There are derelicts everywhere.

Do a little research before anyone pontificates more garbage from a keyboard.

5 years if nobody sued me; 10 years if somebody did, counting from Court Sentence *or* last "new fact" filed, whichever is freshest.

So, if somebody didnīt care to even *start* a complaint for 5 years, then heīs shown a deep lack of interest on the matter, why should the (already overloaded) Law system try to please him for an indefinite length of time.
So, either sue and move the demand forward (get a Lawyer, offer Proof, get witnesses, etc.) or , after 5 years of inaction, STFU.

And IF somebody moved forward and got a favourable sentence (say, Court orders me to pay him "X" amount of money), but then he does not carry on, after 1 year of inaction the case moves to "the back room", simply to lower Courtroom offices clutter, after 2 years it is moved from Court building to a central depository, in both cases he can ask for the files if needed, and after 10 years case is closed for good.

Only cases which donīt "perish" are gross ones such as murder, kidnapping, arson, etc.

With all the hurricanes, and all the fires, there are lots of places to give.
The Red Cross, & salvation army come to mind?

Well, I for one did look at the gofundme page and found the "don't waste my 'effin time" attitude too off-putting, similar to post #5.
Nice idea, would have raised a lot more being run by someone with some people skills. Good luck anyway.

Rising money for the victims is not the point ... and that IF said donations reach them at all, we would be NOT donating to them but to Jeff Stevensonīs Fund ... which might or might not send it in full to Victims.

    And WHO will receive that?
The Red Cross? Salvation Army? some local Church? ... any "official" organization?
If so, do as Big Tee suggests: search for them and contribute *straight* to them.

But what I see here is a guy who wants to sell a bunch of near garbage (or give away) class stuff.

The Video, besides the constant expeletives, is a boring list of: "this is a Chinese Gibson ... 300 (dollars) ... this is a fake Fender, I put the decal myself ... 250 ... this is a "335" ... 250 ...(never saw a cheesier guitar in my life, you would have to PAY a guy to take it away) ... this is a 1950īs Fender Deluxe ... which I built myself on an old School PA amp chassis ...." and so on and on and on.

He does NOT show any of the tantalizing things he mentions on the heading, which would have been the FIRST on the list ... so I think they donīt even exist, whatīs being shown is already the cream of the crop

Of course, you are not even allowed to ask

As a side note, I think that Jeff Stevenson, the selling guy, the "fund organizer" and "jazz" are one and only, shown by the constant slips of the tongue:
    This guy
    asking me
I have verified this info, I will contact you
hes built gear for and played with.
    He is the REAL DEAL.
Funny you had to EMPHASIZE that .
The prices he is quoting me may or may not be what you pay. If I get multiple requests,
(switching personality in the middle of the single phrase, now thatīs funny )
    I will do my best
I bring him your cash, I deliver exactly what you see in the video
With due respect, you seem awfully active (driving to an **OFF GRID** place, delivering money, packing the (HEAVY) stuff, shipping from Santa Rosa) for a guy who claims
I had a stroke recently and getting around is difficult and I can only type with one finger
    Just sayinī
Not a personal interest in this, either for or against, buy your story is SO full of holes !!!!!!!
